Macross has always been one of my favorite anime series, so  I built my own model out of Legos.  This is an original design that I have called the VA-4 Peregrine.  It transforms between Fighter, Gerwalk, and Battroid modes. In  Battroid or Robot mode it has ratcheting thrust nozzles, ball joint ankles, ratcheting knee and hip joints, ball joint shoulders and elbows, retracting hands (one of my favorite features) rotating wrists and fingers, a head that can turn side to side and up and down, independently targetable lasers in the side of the head, and built in missile launchers, laser and beam cannons. The model took about a month to perfect, and a second month to finish all of the optional equipment. Front view of the Battroid mode equipped with the Full Armor for heavy combat. It includes two, Four Tube Micro Missile Launchers on the legs, an 8 Tube Omnidirectional Missile System on the lower back, two Heavy Particle Beam cannons mounted on the boosters with an additional two mounted on the wing mounts on each shoulder, two double barreled Synchrolasers on the wing mounts, and two Double Tube Rocket Grenade launchers in the wing mount, two Three Tube Grenade Crushers on each arm, two clusters of Five Guided Rockets in the chest, and two 14 Tube Multishot Missile Launchers in addition to the normal weaponry of the Battroid Mode.
